To maintain your foster care license you must complete 60 hours of training every two years. OFY offers a variety of on-going training opportunities annually to help foster parents meet this requirement. OFY's upcoming trainings are as follows:

Other Training Opportunities

CCDC&FS, "The County" and North Central Ohio Regional Training Center "NCORTC" are now allowing private agency foster parents to attend their trainings.

You must pre-register for all training classes by calling (216) 267-7070. Training dates and times are tentative and subject to cancellation. Check back regularly for updates, or call OFY to check on last minute cancellations.

*Babysitting is not provided, and children are not permitted to attend trainings.
